The middle school program content provides more freedom and flexibility in organizing the educational process.
From 5th grade, in addition to hours of English, Montenegrin, and native language study, students can choose another new language to study: German, French, Spanish, or Italian (Chinese and Czech are optional).
The schedule includes consultations on various subjects and extracurricular activities.
In the middle school program, we pay special attention to the ability to learn, communication skills, and constructive interaction in groups.
After enrollment, the student's learning program is built to close any identified gaps during the first year of study. Academic knowledge levels form the basis for grouping students in mathematics and English classes.
Teaching in middle school is primarily in Russian, as this is the main language used by our students in everyday life, and we believe that language should not be a barrier to successfully mastering the complex and rich program of our middle school.
At the same time, great attention is paid to learning English to enable students to study in English in high school.
We do not have a unified English program for all students. We group students according to their preparation levels, usually into 3 groups per parallel. In a parallel, the level range can be from A2 to C1. Transfers between groups occur throughout the year depending on individual progress. Each group selects a textbook based on its needs and interests. We use foreign communicative textbooks and supplement them with authentic materials.
In middle school, we strive to give students as much choice as possible, opportunities to make mistakes, try new things, and gain new experiences. By high school, students should be ready to consciously develop further in their education.
We are helped not only by the methods and approaches we use in the main learning program but also by such an important part of school life as extracurricular activities.
We strive to create an environment where students of different ages can communicate with each other, where a child can easily approach an adult and vice versa. We hold science festivals, fairs, literary weeks, sports tournaments, self-governance days, children's conferences, and other extracurricular events for the entire school. It's also a great way to combine learning and fun, study in unusual formats, fantasize, bring fantasies to results, choose, see strengths and weaknesses, and negotiate.
