Who Are We?
Open Music School is a private international music school located in Bar, Montenegro, offering programs for both children and adults:
– early childhood music development from the age of 3.5;
– a classical music school program from the age of 6;
– individualized music education programs for adults (18+).
Classes are conducted in English and Russian.
The school operates as a cultural and educational center, where students not only learn to play musical instruments and develop vocal skills in both solo performance and choir, but also attend classical music concerts, open lessons, masterclasses, and lectures.

Anyone can learn to play a musical instrument. At our school, adults are just as actively engaged as children, developing their skills in piano, guitar, violin, drums, vocals, and even choir singing.

Our Team
All teachers at Open Music School hold higher conservatory degrees and have extensive teaching experience, working with both preschool and school-age children, as well as preparing students for admission to higher education institutions.
If a student aspires to pursue a professional career in music, our teachers provide comprehensive preparation for competitions and entrance exams, and we also offer tutoring support for admission to music institutions across Europe.
For those who study music for general development, we offer a different approach: fewer technical exercises and more focus on the pieces chosen by the student.
We firmly believe that anyone can learn music — you simply need to choose the direction and level of your program.

How We Teach?

Students of Open Music School take part in monthly concert performances and attend classical philharmonic concerts held in our concert hall, Bijela Dvorana.
